Billionaire Wealth Creation Index 2025
Ranking billionaires by total value created for society, not just personal wealth. Our billionaire wealth creation index measures true impact through billionaire value creation and economic contribution.
Inspired by Jeff Bezos' perspective shared at the 2024 New York Times DealBook Summit , this index measures billionaires not by their personal wealth, but by the total value they've created for shareholders, employees, and society at large.
"Somebody needs to make a list where they rank people by how much wealth they've created for other people; instead of the Forbes list that ranks you by your own wealth" - Jeff Bezos

How to Use This Billionaire Wealth Creation Index
Our billionaire wealth creation index ranks billionaires differently than traditional wealth lists. Instead of measuring personal net worth, we calculate the total value each billionaire has created for shareholders, employees, and society through their companies.
What We Measure
- Total market value of companies created
- Jobs created directly and indirectly
- Industry transformation impact
- Innovation and value creation
Why This Matters
- Shows true economic contribution
